The X Factor may have Matt Cardle and Rebecca Ferguson but the Northern Ireland VJMC Bangor Section has their very own Billy Dazzler.
Regrettably we are unable to offer Dazzler a lucrative recording contract but we are in a position to offer him our sincere gratitude for playing at our recent Christmas Dinner in McBride's on the Square, Comber.
Unfortunately for Matt, Rebecca and Dazzler fame can bring its own unique set of trials and tribulations. In Dazzler’s case this took the form of his new biggest fan – Groupie Gibson.
Gail and Patricia celebrated a double birthday with a surprise birthday cake which also provided an extra course for everyone, after they had finished firing off their “Party Poppers”.
We also had a draw for a number of prizes. A few eyebrows were raised when Chris drew his own number for the main attraction - a bottle of genuine champagne.
You will have to take my word for the cake and the draw as I didn’t remember to take any photos. I must have been having a good wee night as I didn’t even end up with a photo of myself.
That said, I am happy to declare that I did manage to capture the evidence on everyone else.

It has been great seeing some old Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club friends at recent Bangor Section gatherings. I would also like to take this opportunity to pass on my sincere appreciation to everyone who has supported the club over the course of the past year and hope you all enjoy a Merry Christmas and a very Happy and Safe New Year.
Did someone once tell me Santa has a couple of reindeer called Dazzler and Groupie .... |
